Our charity provides free information for people of all ages about accessible activities, places to visit, transport and accommodation. This is largely based on on-site assessments by our researchers all of whom have a disability themselves or support/have supported someone with a disability.
From the Cairngorm Mountain Railway in the Highlands of Scotland to a Goldmine in Wales there are exciting and accessible places to visit throughout the UK.

We have really detailed information about excellent accommodation such as an attractive lodge in Shropshire with a ceiling hoist and profiling bed or self catering cottages in Devon with a hydrotherapy pool on site.
We will also be launching a new accessibility guide for Cheshire at the show with details of interesting places to visit e.g. Chester Zoo, Macclesfield Silk Museum and Anderton Boat Lift. It will also include a selection of comfortable and accessible accommodation in the county like Kerridge End Holiday Cottages near Macclesfield and Higher Farm B&B at Malpas.
Visitors to our stand will be able to try out our accessible accommodation search which uniquely allows you to chose from 44 disability related criteria as well as geographical location. So if you need a profiling bed and right hand transfer to the toilet you can select these criteria and the search will generate any properties fulfilling your requirements.
