The enABLE 08 Press Office will be located at stand number 804 and open on Friday 28th November from 10am for free on the day registration and media pass collection. The Press Office will close at 5pm on Friday and 4.30pm on Saturday. Your pass will permit access to the show on both days, with the Press Office located in the adjacent Organisers Office on Saturday 29th November.



Sir Frank Williams CBE Endorses Karting for the Disabled at enABLE 08

One of Formula One’s most successful team owners Sir Frank Williams CBE, has fully endorsed the Karting for the Disabled activity which will take place at the very first enABLE show at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on 28&29 November 2008. “I fully support this initiative which is opening a new route for disabled participants to become involved in competitive motor sport,” said Sir Frank. “With the oxygen of publicity provided by British success in Formula One, it is a great time to be encouraging everyone, regardless of ability or capability, to enjoy full engagement in motor sport.”


MP Supports enABLE 08 – the UK’s Only National Consumer Disability Show

Mark Harper MP, Shadow Minister for Disabled People, has backed the UK’s only national consumer show for people with disabilities who seek an active and independent life. The very first enABLE show will be completely free to attend and meet the information needs of visitors, whether looking for financial guidance or seeking assistive aids to improve mobility, at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on 28&29 November.

Adventure Traveller Encourages Others to Get Active at enABLE 08

Adventure traveller Judy Woolfenden MBE, from Kenilworth in Warwickshire, has confirmed her attendance to the UK’s only consumer show for people with disabilities seeking a more active and independent life. Multimarine Makes Sail for enABLE 08

Multimarine Composites, based in Milbrook, is just one of the unique companies exhibiting at the first ever enABLE 08 show, which will be held in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall at Ricoh Arena, Coventry, 28-29 November 2008.

Largest Ever Disability Survey Brings Hope to People with Disabilities

The results of a recent YouGov survey, believed to be one of the largest ever undertaken for the UK disability market, may offer £6bn worth of hope to the 10 million disabled people in the UK. Commissioned by Centaur Exhibitions, a survey of 2,047 people with a disability has shown that 30% have had at least one application for financial benefit refused with a staggering 90% of these individuals feeling that a fair assessment of their situation was not made by the Government with their application.
